Semax + Selank 20mg holds two Moscow peptides, Semax and Selank. As a pair, they have never been put through a published study. Each peptide brings its own thin file.
Both peptides are seven-link chains. Semax grows out of a fragment of ACTH, the stress hormone; Selank grows out of tuftsin, a small immune peptide. In both cases three links were added to the natural fragment.

What the 4 PubMed papers cited for Semax + Selank looked at, 2006 to 2020
For Semax on its own: a 2006 rat study measured BDNF, a nerve-support protein, in a memory-linked part of the brain. For Selank on its own: a 2008 Russian study of 62 people with anxiety tracked their anxiety scores on Selank and on an older drug.
Two projects looked at both peptides, yet never mixed them. A 2020 scan study gave 52 adults one of Semax, Selank or a placebo. In 2017, rats with damage resembling Parkinson's disease received one peptide or the other, and the team measured their movement, which neither peptide changed, and signs of anxiety.
So the obvious question stays open: what do the two do together? The pairing in this vial is untested, and nothing on this page claims otherwise.
